Manual 12 Ton Force SpectroPress® For XRF or IR Sample Briquetting
Compact contemporary designed manual press installs on counter top. Delivers 12 tons of force monitored by an analog gauge that indicates 0 to 12 tons, in 0.4 ton increments, and 0 to 10,000 PSI, in 250 PSI increments.
The uniquely designed platen accepts and self-centers 13 mm dies for IR applications, and 32, 35 and 40 mm evacuable stainless steel dies for briquetting powdered XRF samples. The use of columnar stanchions secures dies in position during briquetting and permits accessibility from all sides that facilitates fast and easy stainless steel die removal and reinsertion.
Long 20" (51 cm) pumping handle with rubber grip facilitates pumping. Pressure release control retracts ram. Requires permanent installation to a firm base and includes mounting holes in each corner.
