Gyralgrinder® Sample Comminution Grinder

Comminute innumerable types of samples in moments to a reproducible particle size and configuration for a more thoroughly homogenous mixture. The grinding process takes place in a vessel equipped with a solid puck and ring. The Gyral mechanics translate a controlled imbalanced condition to the grinding vessel that causes the puck and ring to collide with each and the interior walls of the dish with the sample substance entrapped in between. The action is extremely energetic and very time efficient.

The operating controls are intentionally located on the front panel integrated with the lid for ergonomics. Includes: heavy gauge steel construction, acoustical lining, locking latches, pressurized gas lid springs, casters for moving into position, leveling legs and safety features. CE Certified.

Easy-to-Use Grinding Dish Clamp

Access to the working chamber is by lifting the cover. Pressurized gas springs hold it in place. A single one-hand operated lever firmly secures the vessel in place. Unlocking the dish is performed by pulling the knobbed lever outward and swinging the clamping mechanism off to one side. This leaves a completely unobstructed access to the comminution dish.

Variable Intensity Of Impact Control

The flexibility of using the variable intensity of impact control serves two functions: it provides a means to minimize the introduction of transition element contamination to the sample and wear to the grinding dish, and it expands the comminution process to accommodate a broader band of different sample substances from soft to extremely hard.

Ergonomically Designed for Comfort

Ergonomically designed to allow a close upright posture to the sample chamber by lifting the lid up and out of the way. This is an especially important issue for operator comfort where repetitive sample processing is performed.

The lid contains all of the controls: the main switch, intensity of control and programmable solid-state electronic timer with an LED display for elapsed time and an alarm alerting completion of the comminution cycle. Two latches to keep lid firmly secured.
