THIN-FILM WINDOW and SNAP-ON RING FASTENER

A simple lever action is responsible for the operation of this handy device. By depressing the lever, a retractable spring-loaded plunger extends downwardly to the sample cup Snap-On Ring overlaying a thin-film window material. The Snap-On Ring is maintained in an upright position as pressure is uniformly applied to completion of attachment. Averts crease formations inadvertently developed without mechanical assistance.

Accommodates nominal 32, 40 and 43 mm Snap-On Ring assembly sample cups by a uniquely designed series of counter bores. Black anodized aluminum.

 

Handy and Easy to Use

  1. Place sample cup on platform.
  2. Place thin-film window over sample cup.
  3. Insert "Snap-On Ring" over thin-film window.
  4. Depress lever.
