Vent Hole Punch

Conveniently create vent holes in sample cups integrated with thermoplastic seals for equalizing pressure differentials. The retractable needle easily penetrates the seal and forms vent holes of a suitable size to handle the initial surge of evacuation or helium injection with the least amount of influence on the window sample plane. Palm held, self-centering over thermoplastic seals for 32, 40 and 43 mm diameter sample cups.

Easy To Use

  1. Place over assembled sample cup.
  2. Depress downward to puncture thermoplastic seal.
