43 mm Single Opened-Ended Snap-On Ring Assembly Sample Cups Integrate External Overflow Reservoir
This popular sample cup features the surety of Snap-On Ring thin-film window attachment, thermoplastic seal venting and sample spillage provisions. The geometry of the window attachment incorporated in both the Snap-On Rings and cell neck are similar; they form leak resistant, wrinkle free sample support planes. Pressure differentials are equalized by a puncturing hole through centrally positioned thermoplastic seals. Thermally sensitive liquids or potential spillages are collected through the vent hole directly into the external overflow reservoir.
Uniform vent holes of the appropriate size are easily created with a Vent Hole Punch and a Palm Held Fastener is very useful for attaching thin-film windows with Snap-On Rings. For added convenience, use the 3” (7.6 cm) SpectroMembrane® Thin-Film Window Carrier Frames for automatic detachment from the sample cup during the assembly process; completely avoids contending with static prone window materials, contamination threats and handling annoying clippings that tend to cling on everything; available in all types and gauges.
