Sleeved Double Open-Ended Sample Cups have Internal Overflow Reservoirs and Vented Snap-On Caps
This Series is distinctly different with overflow reservoirs integrated within the cell. Doubling as a visual fill limit or a method to ensure similar volume analysis, the reservoir collects any spillings directly into the sample cup cell.
The sleeve is uniquely designed to function with any type and gauge thin-film window. Flat sample planes are initiated from the onset and with progressive sleeve attachment steps they remain taut. At completion they form effective seals resisting threats from leaking. Excess window material is enveloped between the sleeve and cell that reduces or eliminates the need for trimming and contending with troublesome static prone clippings. The integrated flange on the cell mechanically stops the sleeve from over extension and ensures similar sample plane-to-excitation source distances.
The Snap-On Cap has a through hole providing a venting passage for maintaining equalization of pressure within the sample cup and sample chamber ensuring a flat sample support plane. When assembled, a series of barriers is established to offer resistance to potential withdrawal especially during the initial surge of the evacuation process.
